Not a gardening blog...

This forum is primarily a gardening one which I absolutely love, but occasionally when times are a little tedious and the garden is out of bounds weather wise, several members post their artwork.I’ve seen how much interest and pleasure has been shown .
Marjorie and I are wondering how G on You members would feel if artwork was included from time to time. We realise that gardening takes priority and if this proposal isn’t popular amongst you,we completely understand.

Oh Wow Eirlys! If you are worried about lurking on the site and not posting for some time, I better stop panicking. I haven't posted since about September, but still read and look. I think some artwork would be appreciated Meadowland, not too many nudes though - don't want to frighten the horses!

I'd be interested to see them. It's good to keep converations going, anyway, or the site will just dwindle and die. Looking at the squall outside, you couldn't remain upright and get out with a camera/ipad/phone even if you wanted to! I've loved looking at our artists' work. You never know, it may inspire others to start a new hobby.

as there is an 'other' section to select for the blog entries I don't see any problem at all. Its no different to showing our pets etc.
after all I show some of my quilting projects.

I agree, put them in the 'other' section. The gardens are so sparse at this time of year.

Have to agree with everyone, it’s fine by me too! I’m always posting Eve on here, please continue to post all your lovely artwork! It’s very cheering indeed.

Yes! Seeing lovely art work on here is always cheering, and a good idea when there is so little to share in the garden. I look forward to being inspired . . .

I agree, right now there isn't much going on in the garden for us, so artwork would be well received by me!
C'mon Sheila, we loved the snowman, it would be lovely to see more of your work. I've finally finished a painting, I've been faffing with for 3 years! X

Well done Janey! I feel very rusty, but do like getting the paints out ... if I can find a small, simple subject I’ll take up the challenge, but don’t hold your breath 🙂. x

I suppose I shouldn't really comment as I have not posted for a very long time. However I loved the painting of the Wye and would enjoy seeing more paintings by yourself and others here. I tried oil painting many years ago but when I moved in late 2019 I gave away all my painting equipment.Just as well, really, as even the Vicar was hard-pressed to find something positive to say about my Highland mountain scene!!
I lurk on this site quite often. Do hope that is allowed!
