we visited llangollen gardening show today – a very mini chelsea! held in the eisteddfod pavilion and grounds despite the rain in it was a very interesting day
i bought some lovely plants white lupins white foxgloves black iris and a garden arch/seat to replace my wonky one this one is metal and very sturdy so should look good for quite some time
weather permitting i shall be squeezing the new plants in somewhere suitable i do tend to have more plants than i should but like the ones that come year after year without help from me! i wave seed pods about with gay abandon hence welsh poppies and acquilegas etc adding to my cottage garden effect free of charge love them for that
i’m new on this web site today and love it thanks for the help with my robinia frisia already albeit not good news i’ll dig in loads of compost and hope for the best
good wishes and happy gardening to all

GOY members are always at hand when you need some advice and it's nice to talk to others with the same interest of gardening. Welcome and hope you soon have some pictures on of your garden. It's good to grow a few veggies as there is nothing like eating fresh produce just picked. You should have quite a lot of wildlife in a big garden to help eradicate some of the bugs.
