It's really something to see Annella - Western Australia is famous for its Wildflower Tours.

Just beautiful Bernieh.....lucky you..the summer is on it's way....:o)

Yes Janey - summer's on it way and there are predictions of very high temps. and a few cyclones. Not my favourite time of year - it's very hard to keep the garden going through our summer.

So hard to believe you are enjoying all these stunning flowers, while ours are all under the ground now.

Definite ends of the extreme - although these beauties will be disappearing right now ... as the temperatures get hotter.

A lovely sight to cheer us all up in this awful wet weather.

Send the all that rain down here Pansypotter ... there's a lot of bushfires raging again in various parts of the country.
22 Nov, 2009
Must be very worrying, all the damage they do, hope all is well where you are!
22 Nov, 2009
Yes thanks Pansypotter .... all is well up here - the fires are thousands of kilometres away from us down in New South Wales and South Australia. They're experiencing record daytime temps at the moment in parts of SW - above 41 degrees C which is over 100 degrees F!!! Not a great sign for the coming summer.
22 Nov, 2009
Cannot imagine temperatures that high, anything over 60 f and just have to find a cool spot to chill!
22 Nov, 2009
Good lord ... for us 60F is a nice chilly winter's day!!! Lol ... all joking aside ... the temps. they're getting down south are horrendous. Hopefully there will be relief from it soon.

Deida ... this was just at the side of the road when we pulled up to have a morning cuppa. Needless to say we had quite a few cups while we just sat there taking it all in. The wildflowers were on both sides of the road and just stretched out into the distance.

don't blame you Bernieh..what a lovely spot to unwind

Looks like the perfect spot for a picnic.
