It is Janey...went to B&Q to get some salt but had sold out so had to get sharp sand ! Couldnt even get out of drive today! Found a half bag of grit to put under wheels of van and that did the trick ! This is all such hard work and more snow forecast for tonight ! Going nowhere next couple of days ! x

OMG! It is a lot of hard work, and takes all your time! At the weekend we had loads of kids making a sheer ice slide just outside our garage and down the hill passed the house......there must've been 20 of them...like you I went to the shop and bought what salt there was....so I was a real party pooper....:o(

I envy those children , we use to make long slides like that , not outside the houses though . I wish I could do it now !

Lol Janey...like when the kids in the village come carol singing ! We used to spend ages learning the carols,but these days they get as far as " Once in Royal Davids City " and it stops ! They then expect you to open the door and cough up ! Am I being cynical ? Lol Just been watching Grumpy Old Christmas on tv... ! Lol

I missed it BB .. I wanted to watch the last episode of Spooks , I love the grumpy people ... so real !

I remember making those long slides in the playground at school. Fantastic fun and great exercise. I'd end up flat on my back in the first 3 feet now!!
I've fallen on the ice twice in the past week. I used to be so steady on my feet. <sigh>
