Stunning group - you must be so pleased at how it's worked out.

Yes, I am - it was worth going back for the other two!
Thanks, all. :-))

Yes it was Barbara ...three make an ideal arrangement especially being different sizes .. .....

i real like this grouping. has hubby noticed yet?

He went with me to pick them up, as they wouldn't go in my car, and he cut up a piece of path edging for pot feet. He looked like a ghost as the white dust went all over him! LOL.
He hasn't seen the planting in the two newer ones yet, though.

I'd be dragging him down the garden just to show them off.

He's not back from London yet. He'll see them in the morning. He liked the big one!

very nice arrangement
I wish I had a spot to put some new pots! I do need to replace some terracotta casualties after the bad weather. One or two are falling to bits.
Think I'll go for frost proof next time .......!

Thanks, R'smum. I had to clear the corner to make a space - I'm glad I did it, though. : -)) Sorry about your terracotta.

Not so much time on GoY at the moment so I seem to have missed out on your shopping trip for the other two pots! They look wonderful, Spritz, you've got such a good eye for arranging plants.

Thanks, Gee and Holly!
I thought you'd all be fed up with 'potty' blogs. However, they do appear in one blog, I think - I couldn't get them out of my mind, and knowing that the GC said they were the last ones, husband took me back and I got both - at a hefty discount! I'm glad you like the group.

Lovely containers Spritz and love all the photos of the Helibores. I bought a small iris in a pot yesterday at the garden centre but am enjoying it indoors as it's so cold outside.
29 Jan, 2010
Yes - I have three pots of different Irises in the g'house now, two grown from bulbs and one bought because they were lovely! :-)
