we used to have a wire haired fox when I was a teenager. He had one sticky up ear and one floopy down one. I like the size of tehse dogs. first one was a lakeland. Loved him to bits too.

Hope he gets a home soon.

Good job he has you Eileen..........he reminds me of Finn...poor little fellow...with a lot of your love and feeding, he'll make you a lovely little dog. Finn was so emaciated when we saw him in the vets that he was there to be put to sleep. You couldn't get a more loving and gentle boy...in his 13th year now.....:o)

That might be a bit of a drastic step Sandra, lol. Luckily John likes the animals but I do all the looking after.

I know the animals make work for us but I love them.
KIttens a bit naughty today - they've been running along the hall and jumping up the curtains, either side of the front door, I had to ban them.

Ooh Dawn I can just picture them...Lol! Ted and Pops usually spend their evenings galloping up the stairs, round the bedrooms and down again....:o(

Aww Eileen I have had tears in my eyes reading about Cori, I would love another little dog but afraid Harry doesnt feel keen on the idea, but Im working on it! hope this little chap soon finds a loving home he certainly deserves one.

That is the cutest dog! I've learned that all dogs are born with the mange mite that is passed on to them by their mothers. Most dogs immune systems keep the mite at bay. There's two kinds -- sarcoptic and demodex with demodex being the worst to have. Puppy had demodex when I got him at age two months and was cured with a medicine called ProPlan and a healthy diet (baked boneless chicken and turkey hamburger) to build his immune system. Just thought you'd like to know.

How very very sad Eileen...and those are probably just the tip of the iceberg. Why do people get animals and then sling them out ? I know times are hard...but if we can afford to eat then our animals eat too...in it together...in bad times and good. It makes me so mad...

I'm fine thanks and pleased to hear you've had sunshine - unlike us :-( Not too bad but drizzling most of they day. I did get some more 'in the green' bulbs set though :-) Put my hood up and away I went.

He's a sweetie who deserves a good home. Well done Irish for giving him a little bit of love. We had sunshine today althought the temperature early this morning was minus 2 and so Gerry and I placed the seat and table back outside because the weathermen said that we are going to have some more sunshine and I thought that it would be nice to wrap up and have our morning coffee outside.

Looks like a repeat of yesterday Irish. White frost with a brilliant blue sky and plenty of sunshine. The snowdrop flowers came open yesterday. I garden the flowerbed that runs alongside between us and the bungalow next door. It belongs to a young man who lives there but goes to work, but he doesn't mind me doing it and putting plants in. I've tidied it all up and put big stones along the edge and any bulbs I dug up I split into small clumps and they are all growing well now. Spring is a lovely time of year. The birds are certainly singing well.

At least everything is neat and tidy Irish and the bushes are cut at the right time. We actually have flowers on the springtime shrubs. Just been outside and raised the stones by placing more soil underneath them and pruned the roses. Swept up and feel better now!!!!!
