Thats a lesson for us all if we want a shrub to go through anything the winter weather throws at us .......

Thats lovely Carole,did you shape it yourself,or buy it as a standard? I haven't got this one,but we must be a bit more sheltered this side of the Pennines,as my emerald and gold ones have done ok.Even the Choisa Sundance,has only
slight damage at the top,and is quite exposed to the elements.Glad about that,as its a favourite of mine......

Sandtrea we bought it as a standard it was very sparse, but over the years we have continued to shape it and its really a lovely standard now. You have done well with your Emerald Gold mine have really taken a bashing, but like you the Choiysa Sundance has come through untouched;0)
