A lovely little orange tree! It won't survive outside in this country. It must be kept frost free.

Would you believe it? Of all the most incredible coincidences in the world this one had to happen to me!

My daughter gave me a Calamondin plant today!!! :-) She didn't even know I wrote on this website (or even that it existed!) Nor did my wife know that I had commented on this fruit as I hadn't said anything. So she couldn't have said anything to her either.

The 19th of March is St Joseph's Day in Spain & is Father's Day over there. Every year my daughter gives me a plant for this day - if anyone has seen my Miniature roses photos I comment on this as well. She gave me my very first mini rose in 2004 for this day.

Looks a very healthy plant, would like to know more about it please.

I did a search on Google & came up with a couple of interesting pages. I put my plant in a bigger pot the other day & I cut some of the box away, the photo, & taped it to the pot. When I went to throw the rest of it away I saw the cultivation instructions & was very surprised to read it can survive temps as low as -4ÂșC! Yet in Wikipedia it says: "It is frost sensitive and therefore limited to warm climates (e.g., Florida, south Texas, and Hawaii in the U.S.)" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calamondin That is what I thought! Here is another page with lots of info:- http://oliodigest.com/calamondin/
