Re the pic; this was the very first pic taken with my new camera (an early Christmas pressy to myself, lol!). Taken on Wednesday at a local nature reserve. I wanted a camera which could "capture" small birds and other wildlife. With more practice, I think that my new camera will be "worth its weight in gold". The birds and other wildlife are desperate for food in the freezing conditions, and so are much bolder than normal. Giving them something to eat is a small reward for getting nice pics (goes without saying, of course) :-)))

Not the best time of year for moving house, Lori! When we moved from London to H'don it was near the end of January so you can imagine we didn't have all that good a Christmas that year! But that was 44 years ago!

Lovely robin David. How are you getting on it the snowy conditions where you are? It's snowing again here this morning. Gerry is going down the road to get some veg then I shall get the meat on Friday from the butchers. Hope you have a very Happy Christmas. It's so lovely to have children around to share Christmas with it makes it so special. Have fun. x

M'lady Linda - this weather getting very tiresome, now!
2-3hrs drive to work, instead of usual 45mins. :-((
