Fabulous picture Gee1 its strange as I have heard the Robin outside my bedroom window singing his heart out at 3 oclock in the morning, reading up on the habits on Robins it does say they stake out there territory by singing in the early hours, I just wish that sometimes I could turn of there announcements until a liitle later in the morning!

Thanks, all! My camera is a Canon 1000d, Sticki, and I use a zoom lens on it. This was taken through my kitchen window - he was on top of my pyracantha bush about 12 feet away, totally unaware of me snapping away :)

thats fabulous, OH has a canon ~ i can never remember its number, he has a zoom lens ~ if i could only learn to use it!!

Give it a try, Sticki, I just press the button when I'm taking bird photos with it on sport setting so you can take loads of shots :)

i shall try ~ i can take pictures through the glass with my camera but doesnt seem to work with the bigger canon ~ if i open the window they will fly away ~ i shall have to work something out!
