This is the raised bed at the end of my back garden, which, some years ago, I made from very heavy recycled brick sections...

Hywel... the breed of the little dog is a Papillon... French for butterfly ...
... because of the butterfly shaped ears..:o)

The people a few houses away from me have Papillions - 4 of them I think. They're very pretty

... there is a version of the breed with "drop ears" and they are called Phalène, which means moth....

I had to trim a few dead leaves off the euonymus in the tub, but it still seems healthy enough...
A few of my front garden hebes look a little sad, but I think they might perk up when the weather improves....

Hebes are quite resilient ... I'm sure they'll be fine ... just looked outdoors and it's pouring down ... again! : o (

Aubrieta seems to do well in neutral/alkaline soil, and with good drainage... water young plants with rain water... x

oh wow, it looks lovely, really nice colours :)) I was thinking of getting some "Royal mix" seeds and trying those; apparently they've won one of those shiney RHS medals...

I have visions of it tumbling down the old sandstone walls we have in the garden... although I may have to wait a few years for that :P
