This is part of the shady side of my garden.....lots of greens, alongside Tin Lizzy,Sambucus Sutherland's Gold, and the variegated standard Salix flamingo.

Janey, do you have any trouble with scorch on the samubucus leaves? my nurseryman friend says they've stopped selling this var as it is so easily damaged up here....I wondered if you had that problem further south.

Green is beautiful so many different shades to, love Lizzie and it all looks so lush and healthy!

Thanks everyone....Moti, I'm the same, don't care for dark green, I think after the winter we need light and sun don't we...:o)
She is sweet isn't she Sheila...a pressie from Kat my daughter, as she looks like Poppy.

No Karen, though the flower buds did fall off before they opened, it was after the warmth early on then a cold snap again. It' is in the shade though and I do water often.

Lol 6d....I love those old carry on films...they were so funny, the 2 Ronnies was on the other night, it was amazing...there's nothing like them now is there...:o((

All looking fabulous janey, i especially like the Sambucus...think i like it better than the dark leaved one...I have gone off dark leaves a bit...Even my green acer appeals to me more these days..
