This is my latest painting in oils, which was done from a photograph, I found all the buildings a little challenging but finally got there in the end.

Another winner Carole, Agree with Sticki, it would make a super jigsaw, I'm just doing one, a black kitten in amongst summer flowering pots. I thought it would be easy, but so much lobelia!! To get back to your painting, the stone houses are beautiful and the church there, I love it! When are you going to have your own exhibition???

every christmas OH buys me a jigsaw, i have tried to get him to buy a different make but he seems fixed on one particular shop to buy it from ~ they arent made very well and several pieces will go into one space even if they are not right ~ so frustrating. [sorry PP i digress!!!]

Your paintings are kind to the eye and you blend the colours in well together. Yes there are some wonderful villages around and I love to wander along the little streets and glance at the windowsills of the old stone cottages to see what people have placed into them. Lovely to see the little front gardens too. It's amazing what plants and pots people place into the smallest of spaces. I would love to go out into their back gardens to see what they are like...........

Me too lindak would love to have a nosey around the backgardens, I be they are quirky and stunning at the same time ;0))

You could put your paintings in a book Pp and get some talented person to write a poem on the facing page, think how uplifting it would be. I'd certainly have one on my coffee table:-)

WOW!!! That was my first impression when I saw that it was a painting you had done. PP! You are very, very good with the brushes & oil paints! :-))
You'd fall off your chair laughing if you could have seen the paintings of some flowers I did with water colours one day back in the summer before our gdaughter began school in the autumn! She insisted I paint something & all I could think of was to paint some flowers. Even her painting, for a 4 year old, were better than mine! I'd better stick to just growing them! LOL!
