I have some of these (anemone blanda?) in a big bowl planter - that way I know where they are!
They are such a stunning blue.

I planted lots of these lovely blue, wood Anemones but they never appeared....I wondered if it was the squirrels that ate them. I have bought a nice flowering group of them from B& Q and will plant them out tomorrow in my woodland garden. ( small area with woodland plants :o) Blue is always so lovely in the garden.

Linda - I read on a site (somewhere, sorry) that the corms can 'sulk' for the first season. Maybe yours will appear next year? Don't give up on them yet?

Linda these are growing in the squirrels favourite place under the nut trees , there are holes all over the place where they have been digging up the buried nuts but they haven't dug up where these plants are or maybe it's because they have a choice ... Nuts or Plants !
