Thank you everyone, I have only just bought this, which is probably why it's looking good! I'm not sure they ever come back the next year as well in my garden?
Wildrose - good point! Thought I could look at this flower instead! And dream!

7 May, 2012
Do you think it will be ok and just as good next year?
7 May, 2012
Ooh, I've got this one, but its not in flower yet. Its gorgeous. I have had this one for years and it gets bigger and better every year.

Aqualegias usually come back sticki, but you never know with plants do you! Ive just read that they like light shade which prolongs flowering and cut back to their basal foliage in autumn, and remove dead leaves in spring, ive got a white/lemon one i bought last year and a few o the common ones around the garden from years ago that keep coming back, i always say to myself i will get rid of them after they have flowered but never do :^))

Lovely one, I save the seeds on mine Sticki, but most come back of their own accord anyhow, they don't always come true though - I was told at a Horticultural College they are very promiscuous plants!! - don't ask ;o)
7 May, 2012
oh thanks rose, thats very good news
thanks daylily i shall try to remember that
i shall certainly try to keep the seeds for this one, thanks neellan
the cosmos seeds i saved from last year are not doing very well. :-(
9 May, 2012
Shame about your Cosmos the year before last mine failed too, but last year I had loads and gave a lot of plants away, you have just reminded me I forgot to plant any this year! :o(
9 May, 2012
do you think its too late now?
9 May, 2012
Probably Sticki I'll try some though and keep my fingers crossed!
9 May, 2012
I think I will too.

Lovely flower. I bought an aquiligia root in a bag and planted it in a pot, left it in the greenhouse and have just placed it in the garden on the patio. It has had a few flowers already. They are very delicate blooms and such lovely pastel colours.
10 May, 2012
hope yours grows well linda
10 May, 2012

10 May, 2012

10 May, 2012
Oh yes, so much so i grew about 15 different ones :-)
10 May, 2012
well done you, i used to love them as a child, but there must be some wild ones or very different ones that come up in my garden, not anything like as spectacular
10 May, 2012
if you want any seed later of mine your more than welcome to some...
10 May, 2012
oooh i might just like that, thank you SL, you are very kind, the bunnytails are doing really well ~ will i be better to put them in a pot or the ground as they get bigger?
10 May, 2012
Beautiful.
11 May, 2012
they will grow bigger and more naturally in the ground Sticki, but they can survive in a pot depends how much space you have :-)
11 May, 2012
ahhhhh it's yummy. My fave flower. I have a similar one but darker blue. Would look good together. We'll have to seed swap when flowering is over! x
11 May, 2012
