So beautiful. Did the new owner sow this then Amy?

I loved it Ojib so did the Bees , The new owner didn't sow it Karen ,he left it to see what would come up , he was undecided as to what to do with it next year we told him to leave it as it was .. he had mowed a pathway so that you could walk all round the perimeter ...

It's never the same when you go back is it Gg ! Carole / Lil / Carol the owner did say how delighted he was , I would be to if I had bought a place with a field like that , I would put a shed or something up in a corner so that I could eat my lunch / sandwich with my cup of tea ... or a glass of wine in the evening :o))

How lucky you are,to have such a thoughtful new neighbour,Amy..it is fantastic..and lots of happy memories for a lot of us,I think..such a shame that 'progress' stopped a lot of this....that should certainly get the bees and insects multiplying again..:o)

He's not our neighbour Sandra I wish he was it would be lovely to have this next door to us ,it's in a village nearby , they had open gardens on Sunday with Bob Flowerdew as a guest to answer questions on gardening ..
12 Jun, 2012
oops,my mistake..how nice to have nearby anyway..I haven't seen Bob Flowerdew for years,a good natural gardener..did you go,Amy ?
12 Jun, 2012
Yes we did Sandra we had a long chat with Bob Flowerdew I have his autograph and took a photo , he has changed ,you would hardly recognise him , he wouldn't allow his garden to be seen as it's to untidy ,you can image it can't you covered in old carpets and rubber tyres etc....

Hi Amy, looks great, I can see ox eye daisy and butter cups I think. You'll have to give him some sweet rocket to add. I dont know Bob Flowerdew but he must have been interesting to chat to.

Is he the one with the long plait?
12 Jun, 2012
A few blue Cornflowers would look nice to .. You can Google Bob Dawn ,he use to have a programme on TV on how to grow organically .. we got on to the suject of Mistletoe he said you need about 5 plants growing to ensure you have a male and female , I think I've just about got that many !
12 Jun, 2012
Yes Karen but we couldn't see if he still had a plait it ,he was wearing a wooly hat , shall I put a photo on ,I think I will !
