Yes Brian ,the garden looked looked like a Jungle ,the rain has made everything grow so much , we had strawberries ripening when we left something has been eating them , it might be the squirrels :o( some friends called round this morning and have offered to lend us a squirrel trap , it's going to be interesting ..

Thanks everyone , we had a nice break but I'm afraid it wasn't the kind where you did your own thing and took photos , we went to visit a cousin near Scarborough who had lost her husband just before Christmas ,the funeral was on her birthday , she was obviously still very upset by it all , we did however manage to spend some time in York which would have been nice if it hadn't been pouring with rain .. :o(

Sorry to hear of your cousin's loss,Amy..I just assumed you had gone abroad in your caravan..and a shame our Yorkshire hospitality didn't include the weather ! it's been dire..and after three days sunshine,it's back to the same ! Grrr

Thanks Dawn / Sandra it was sad ,the doctors insisted my cousins husband had nothing to worry about and that it was only a Liver spot on his back this went on for ages it was eventually diagnosed as cancer which spread through him quickly ... :o(

I love the way this one grows...those little bands of flowers are really eye-catching. I hope it all went well Amy, and she took some comfort from your visit. We had 3 lovely sunny days, and then back to normal! The garden isn't looking too brill either, all the tall plants are now horizontal....:((

Lovely pic of lovely plant, Amy, how old is it?

Pansy, there's a mini--Buddleia, Buzz, I got one in February, the blurb says it'll grow to about three feet high; I got it on eBay, would be glad to give you the seller's details if you're interested, but sure it'd be available in many colours from many sellers.
