Just checked it Janey, it is Autumnalis.

It is growing in a lovely spot, what a joy at this time of year.

I thought it must be Cinders, saying that the one in Mums garden hasn't any flowers or flower buds right now.......I hope it hasn't died, she loves that little tree......

Janey this one puts out a few flowers all through the year, not many, but the odd little burst. I pruned it back a bit last year as it was growing so much, and its paid off now.

Mine wasn't showing much sign of flowering when I left it...must say, this pic looks very spring-like! Lovely! I hear we are in for a cold snap at the weekend...in time for our homecoming....sigh!

Hi Karen, hope you are enjoying your break. You will probably get home to lots of flowers on your cherry tree too. Weather forecast is not good for the weekend. Sorry.

That's ok Cinders, it was to be expected, and its been fairly mild so far! I'm always glad to get home, whatever the weather! This has been a lovely holiday thanks!

We didn't lose the leaves on our ornamental till December this year, so not expecting any blossoms any time soon.

That's beautiful, Cinders, while walking yesterday I saw one in someone's garden and wondered what it was. Another to add to my wish list :)

Was at Mums today Cinders, expecting to see the tree as it was last week, and hey presto!
Lots of pale pink blossoms.....:))

I'm going to start keeping an eye on mine....I've seen our Hellebores sporting lovely White buds, and the Arums are up....so fingers crossed...

Have bought a couple of cherry trees this year, will be pleased if they look like yours.....

Thank you, I do have to prune it a bit as some branches go berserk, but it would be ok if I had more space for it.

Ours are still tiny, so none of that to do, as yet!!
