Its lovely Bloomer...

It looks really lovely Sandra, but I bet you have a job to control that white ' snow on the mountain'

13 Jun, 2013

Lovely mix there Bloomer, I bet the neighbours enjoy it too :o)

The border is looking beautiful Sandra, lots of colour already and very well cared for too;0) Is the White Saxifrage or Snow it summer?

13 Jun, 2013

Wouldn`t mind parking the car next to that, very pretty.

Thanks Holly,I love white in a garden..maybe overdosing a bit ,this year! Lol.
........
Thank you,Cinders..I usually manage it ok,but with all the rain, and then sunshine,it's exploded this year! A serious haircut is needed, when it stops flowering:o)
.......
Thanks Annie. The neighbours all look out on it,and as we don't walk on that path,it isn't in anyone's way..they all said they like it :o)
.......
Thank you Carole, just waiting for the other things to flower now,a lovely time of year, isn't it? It's' Snow in Summer',or Cinders version ' Snow on the Mountain..'any sounds nice..I'm going to be posh now,and call it Cerastium ! Lol...I don't normally, just showing off :o))
You are welcome to park your car anytime you wish,Stroller..kettle will be on , and thank you :o)

It looks blooming marvellous, Bloomer - just stunning! So I've just nominated it for Goypedia's "front gardens" :)

I think that it must be a good year for "snow in/on"...it's exploding everywhere!

14 Jun, 2013

Thanks Karen, that is nice of you :o)..This is the best sight of 'snow' ! Lol..I love it..even if it is a bit of a thug, but it fills a gap in the dry area under the tree..:o).

14 Jun, 2013

...so it does dry, too? Hmm...thinking... :)

14 Jun, 2013

Anything at all,Karen..very hardy, through all weathers..just needs a good haircut when it's finished flowering..It only gets watered as an afterthought! Lol poor thing, but it never fails to show...nice grey/green foliage afterwards, and not a tall grower.more a compact cushion, except for the stray seeded bits ,but easily dug out,,......are you still thinking? :o)

14 Jun, 2013

It all looks fabulous Sandra, and I've noticed the 'snow' in front gardens by me looking amazingly dazzling. Maybe it enjoyed the rain for a change?:-)

15 Jun, 2013

Thanks Ba,they do seem very 'Persil' white this year, don't they? just the thing when it's grey outside..:o)

15 Jun, 2013

I planted two little ones either side of Apollo last year...and they've exploded! Can you just divide it? I've got a bare dry patch at the other end of the garden, under the wisteria...but, it gets sun (at the front) all day.

15 Jun, 2013

No problem,Karen..easy to divide..that's how I got mine..and now ,so have the neighbours :o). It will be a lovely contrast with the Wisteria..and flowering together :o)My soil is rubbish under the tree..but I did chuck a bit of compost in,years ago, when I planted it ! Lol...also in mainly full sun till early evening..

15 Jun, 2013

I chucked a couple of packets of nasturtiums in there a couple of weeks ago, since they're not fussy...but it needs filling out. Good idea...I'll divide it when it stops flowering...then I just need to find something for at the back...where it's very dry - and dark! :)

15 Jun, 2013

They should do ok there,Karen..now it's my turn to think...mmm,dry and dark eh ? ..Miners lamp ? :o) ..sorry,having another senior moment....I will ask my friend Carole today..she has much more knowledge, and common sense than me..you might have some other suggestions on here,beforehand....good luck :o) x

Such a gorgeous walkway of flowers! :>)

18 Jun, 2013

It's all looking beautiful Sandra. I'd like to be cheeky and beg a bit of your Snow..the next time you can spare some, it looks wonderful, and I have just the spot for some :0

18 Jun, 2013

Thank you Delonix..it has taken a few years to fill it,with many changes along the way.but that's gardening for you :o)

18 Jun, 2013

Thank you Julia, you are more than welcome to have some..I will be thinning it out when it's finished flowering..and I think I will be able to meet you soon..will email you :o),

18 Jun, 2013

Great Bloomer, look forward to hearing from you :)

18 Jun, 2013

Wow Sandra, love orange and White together....it's so striking, beautiful!

1 Jul, 2013

Thanks Janey, sadly the white Cerastium has gone over now,but lots of other things are blooming :o)..it's my favourite border,as I have more scope to plant more things, unlike the back garden, which has it's limitations with being much smaller..but I seem to manage:o)

1 Jul, 2013

Sorry I'm late here. That was a lovely combination of orange and white. I saw the cerastium in Chrispook's garden the other day, virtually of course, and thought then that I'd like to get some. This has just confirmed it for me - thanks, Bloomer.

2 Jul, 2013

That's looking really full and healthy, Sandra ... :o)

2 Jul, 2013

Thanks T.bear.it's a good gap filler if you don't mind it spreading..but easily kept in check,if you don't :o)..

2 Jul, 2013

Thanks Shirley..I've just clipped the white one today,as was getting past it's best, ,so I now have grey/green foliage again, but a nice contrast anyway:o)

2 Jul, 2013

and the foliage is very soft to the touch if I remember rightly .......

3 Jul, 2013

Yes it is,Shirley..I might just roll in it,like Megan does on your plant..that would give the neighbours something to talk about ..and get me some therapy ! Lol x

3 Jul, 2013

You'll need therapy soon if you carry on like this ... lol!!!

4 Jul, 2013

And not a moment too soon after this morning,Shirley..!
We were assembling a table,or trying to,..not easy with a three year old 'helping'..:o( He wanted to break up all the Polystyrene packaging..but it was that stuff that sticks to everything in sight,in little balls ..he was covered, and we were taking him swimming not long after ..sat there enjoying himself, with a pencil stuck behind his ear...like Grandad does..we made it just in time:o)
What time shall I expect the van ? Lol.

4 Jul, 2013

Lol Sandra - you could have put Thomas in the water with all those polystyrene beads to keep him afloat! Very professional having a pencil behind the ear ... that's what 'Barney Bodger' aka Michael always tells me!

4 Jul, 2013

Even worse today..called in on their way back from a picnic lunch in the park..with his scooter and fell in the plants,as he can't steer properly yet..nothing broken,or damaged...and he was ok too ! Lol..I swear, he will have an ASBO before long: .( you know I love him :o)

5 Jul, 2013

Lol Bloomer! Check out my Riley blog today....I can see him having one soon !!!

5 Jul, 2013

Will do,Annie..now you know what's coming, you have been warned!..tie him to the table leg, before it's too late! Lol...off to have a look now:o)
