I'll save you some when it seeds Carole ! thanks girls this was initially created to cut down on some of the work in the garden , Val I'll come back to that when I get my list of grasses out I have so many I believe its Carex Buchananii or Carex Flagellifera ...

I've checked it out Val it's the Carex buchananii but they are both very similar !

Amy, guess what.... we were passing a local pub this morning, and they had sign outside advertising plants, so we thought we'de take a look and lo and behold they had this grass on sale!Bought it of course after seeing yours along with a dark leaved Dahlia,white flower with yellow middle, 2 for a Fiver, not small pots, so a bargain I think! :-))

What a stroke of good luck Val ,I'm pleased for you, the Dahlia sounds a pretty contrast with the dark leaves I'm always keen to stop and look at road side plants that's where the bargains can be found ,no overheads to pay for ! we are going to visit some open gardens tomorrow 20 of them, OH has given me strict instructions not to come home with any more ideas that involve hard labour Lol ...

Thanks Fran , it's an old pig trough about 8 little piggies would feed round it , we only have birds and ducks visiting it and Bees they sudden appear at certain times of the day it's funny to watch them all swarming and drinking from it ! :o))
