Winter colours ...

They do have a way of making you smile whenever you see them, very sweet.

I love the happy faces of the pansies and am pleased with the Choisya... I've not planted that combination before. :o)

I think this variety of Choisya sets all flowers off beautifully..one of my favourites :o)

It's Choisya Ternata 'Sundance ',Terra..according to my RHS book,..best in well drained fertile soil,in full sun for best leaf colour.Shelter from cold winds (one of mine gets some )Trim wayward shoots in summer, removing frost damaged shoots in spring .When it's established,you should get small white flowers which are fragrant..:o)
Hardiness 3,but mine have both survived those bad winters..just a bit of frost damage on one of them..Hope this helps :o) xx

Thank you Sandra ... I have one bigger Choisya growing but wasn't sure of its variety ... its location was chosen more by luck than anything else ... it is in full sun and sheltered by a fence so not surprising it seems happy there. Lol. ;o) xx

I'm sure your smaller one will do just as well,Terra..Mine was drastically pruned a few years ago,and it has forgiven me already ! Lol.xx

I think this smaller choisya in the photo is a paler colour than the large choisya in my front garden ..
... and yes, pruning just makes them grow even faster.. Lol. xx

It might just be the difference in position,or soil,Terra..It still looks pretty healthy :o) xx
