My front garden is coming to life ..

Last autumn I removed my front garden lawns which had become full of small weeds.
Then I added my recycled pavings, with some cobbles and small rockery plants. This area is still a work in progress, but I'm pleased with it so far.
I'm already appreciating various benefits of having to mow only my back lawns !

It's all looking good TT. I like your Tulips nearest the camera. Just as a matter of interest, what do Conker and Truffle make to it all after all, they are your garden partners :)

Thanks Bluebell and Waddy ...
Conker and Truffle like the fact that we can now enjoy more gardening time together on the back lawns. :o)

Thank you Klahanie and Sbg ...
The flowers are coming out so fast, it looks different each time I go out there ...
It's exciting trying to remember which plants I put in last autumn ... and much more interesting than worrying about weeds in the lawns !

Hi Derek ... thanks ... over the winter I did wonder if I'd done the right thing, taking up the front grass, but the flowers are now coming through nicely.

Thank you Pam, Karen, Dotty, Ba and Chris ...
It might sound daft, but I get really excited looking to see which items are coming into flower ...
A few of the rockery plants were new last autumn, but many others I had split and replanted from various parts of my back garden.

That's so eye catching and a great idea at reducing the labour of two gardens. It's so pretty.
