Hi Tt, I daren't go anywhere near my lawn with a mower yet, and your grass is still shorter than mine before you cut it, it's nice and green though, lol, Derek.

Wow! Its spring in Cambs then! Midwinter here Terra. Mind you..we were out walking Molly this afternoon and one of the village lawns was having a cut. The smell...wow...made my heart really glad! :)) ours is too muddy after very heavy rain overnight. Sadly, I didnt see the meteor...very disappointed!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.
I was lucky to be able to mow my lawns during a short spell of warm sunshine. Quite exhausting though !
Since then we've had rain and cold winds. But my rosemary plants are all flowering well at the moment.

The flowering Rosemary is great! However, it's extremely common here. I'm more impressed with the beautiful green lawn. :>) The grass here is all brown because of the very hot weather (we had the hottest February on record in San Diego and barely a drop of rain). I wish I could get grass that green here! :>)

Your Rosemary looks really great, TT!

Two years ago I took some Rosemary cuttings & put them in the soil in the greenhouse border. They stayed there more than 6 months till I got around to planting them out on the allotment. Last year they grew reasonably well & flowered nicely. This year I've hardly set foot on the allotment, (let alone do any work!), but I did notice the last time I was down there a few weeks ago that the little plants were just beginning to flower.

Terratoonie:

We had a little rain yesterday and having some today with quite a big storm with thunderstorms and very strong winds. We need all the rain we can get. All that really hot, dry horrible weather 80º - 93ºF or 27º to 34ºC is gone for now.

Thanks Balcony ...
I hope your allotment rosemary plants are flowing well.

Hi Delonix ..
that's good to know San Diego had some rain.

How lovely to see that it has come through the winter unscathed...

Thanks. I have several varieties of rosemary which have all done well over the winter.

I never knew that Rosemary (my real name) flowered like this. I have only seen the white, but this is spectacular...
