Loads of planting potential there, I agree with the bigger borders less grass plan they'll look really full when stocked up...

That's exactly what I've been doing today as well, Pixi, in wonderful sunshine. More room for plants! Yes!

Great Pixi - been crap weather until later on here - Always more room for plants!!!! Do love that blue flowered one Pixi - cornus is lush!!! All on the up now :))))

I could use some of your energy....I only managed about an hour in the garden today; so frustrating! Got some weeding and pruning done but there is always more....

You've worked hard to get your borders ready for planting and if you are like all the rest of us we can't wait for spring and summer colour to brighten up our borders, Pixi.

You have done a good job there,Pixi..great to be outside ,isn't it? Been lovely here too..got lots done,and Russell cut the grass this afternoon..looks good with all the dead thatch raked out,and not as much moss this year either..
All in a pile now for the birds,for their nests ..you have plenty extra space for more plants now..:o)

Looking good Pixi :). It's good to make room. Remember I have a Brunnera growing for you. It wasn't very happy looking til about a week ago and it now has a couple of minuscule leaves just growing. I'll wait til it gets a wee bit healthier looking and get it over too you!

Great idea to get rid of the grass. I got rid of mine as soon as I could :o) You'll have a lovely garden with lots of interesting plants, and less mowing :o)

Yes agree with the grass for me - it is so easier - our grass in winter just got wetter and wetter - puddles, worm casts, magpies nicking it in March, mess from mowing, getting mower out and back in, cleaning the mower, weeds - to name a few :D
