Do you mean growing near to a wall or actually in a double wall?

We've got two double walls with plants growing in them. Shrubs would be a bit more of a challenge though.

I thought she must mean 'by' the wall, rather than 'in' a double one, as she's asking about privacy. Maybe Angel1 would please join in and let us know?

Frankly, any photos of plants growing in front of fences or walls would be useful if you want ideas for plants. The critical thing is to decide precisely what height and spread you need to increase your privacy - you might want a small tree to block next door's upstairs window's view of your patio - or you might just want something that gets 8 feet high and however many feet wide to stop people seeing over the wall. Decide on the sizes you need and then look at the shrubs or plants which fit the bill. Or ask on here when you know.
