We all make mistakes in the garden , don’t we! Here’s mine……
Oops! The other one is trying to hide, saying “look out she’s got the scissors in her hand.”

I turned my laptop all ways and decided its a hedgehog on a stick...
As has been said it will grow back, I always dislike my shrubs for a while when they`ve had a trim but needs must sometimes and it does them good..

I've so far avoided trimming my two shrubs...just not very confident I guess.
You've had a good trim on yours now so it should really take off and make some good leaf structure for you real soon :) Never fear...you've probably shocked it into growth...

It's had a crew cut lol :o) I'm sure it will grow back.
I'm a bit heavy handed with a shears aswell. I keep saying it does them good lol

Hi Rose, welcome to GOY:-) Will you let us know what shape you were aiming for? I was a big fan of Rolf Harris, but I can't tell what it is yet:-)

Well believe it or not it was supposed to be a lollipop shape. I bought it as a small shrub and i think it actually looked better then!Lol. Thanks for the welcome Bornagain and nice to meet you.

I've thought of having a go at this, well fancied cloud pruning actually, but chickened out:-)

I will be a bit more wary of pruning these again Bornagain. As it's box it's going to take a long time to come back to a decent size.
