evening …

well spring is well under way here at corseside and the weather has been sooo mild. although today the mist was in and it felt cold with no sunshine all day. we moved into the tunnel for the day.

well when i say we i mean me and Julian…oldest son David ‘volunteered’ to bring the wonderful 4 year old manure into the tunnel for us. :-)

the two of them soon had it all dug in and ready for planting

these tomato will be ready by the end of june and be sold at local markets. well some of them as we all love them. my mam will be on a mission to freeze, chutney and cook as many as she can. we have only just run out of last years harvest. the other plants will be going out to the market over the next few weeks.

this is the third year we have done it and this year we have twenty two varieties…..

as you can see he’s obsessive about them…no-one else aloud to plant them…lol

these are aeonium seedlings julian planted in February we are gobbsmacked at what has germinated. this pic is from about three weeks ago.

they have continued to erupt and today i have been thinning them out.

never tried them from seed before wont need to ever again with all of these…

i have just done them into little clumps in plugs for now a friend of mine is after the leftovers..

and heres one i made earlier…:-)

staying inside…

in mams conservetory things are shooting up all over…these sarracenia are may favorites today..

it had one flower when i bought it last year and its already got 4 buds…happy days

by the end of the day most of the tomatoes are in.

just the small matter of shifting this to the veg and fruit beds tomorrow….

well i hope all your seeds are popping and that the
promised good weather for later in the week comes.

happy gardening..

Sandra.

You are amazing... you all work so hard and make me feel so guilty for not getting on with the work that needs doing in my plot.

as its my job i have to...my garden is over run with weeds. my policy of keeping my weeds smaller than my plants is failing. the dandelions and daisys are looking great. lol
