What a busy time we have had here at Corseside this summer..I am soo enjoying having time to be back on here catching up. I’ve had a P.J. day today…. some big cycling event taking place on the top road today, police have closed the road for a few hours so we are taking advantage of being stranded at home..:-)
I have spent time clearing out mums conservatory to make way for the succulents to move back in for the winter. First in were the aeoniums of course…

I have to make room in the tunnel for the rest…
but the tomatoes are still in the way….

these were selling so well this summer…the holiday makers enjoyed our pick your own option. but its nice now as we get to eat them and share them with the neighbors. mothers picking and storing all the fruit and veg as fast as she can and we have a few gallons of wine underway in preperation for our daughters wedding next year.

there is still plenty of things to sort for the nursery before the winter arrives but we have started….

griselinia hedging factory…lol

aeoniums in the greenhouse

soon there will be time for some GARDENING….whoop whoop…i cant wait to get in and sort things out…

i do love the overgrown jungle look…..:-}

just one more pic…

this dream catcher was crafted by one of our happy campers this summer…

thanks for checking out my blog

Sandra..;-)

Another bumper year for your toms, we failed dismally this time, as usual you have loads of work on, could do with your energy!! we have taken our Aeoniums and our tender succulents inside mainly because of the rain, lost several last year because we were late doing this, I see your Fascicularia bicolour has flowered, lucky you, do you take it inside during the winter?

14 Sep, 2011

tents will only be up for two more weeks then we can relax about the wind Dawn..
D.Daisy the fascicularia is outside all winter and has survived the snow of the last two years although mine are in south facing protested sites. but i do love it when they do they're thing. i was late taking tings is last year too so im a bit more organised this year..:-)

15 Sep, 2011

Only 2 weeks then Sandra. :)

How are the orchids doing? Hope they kept on flowering for you on the east facing windowsill.
