Took a bit of time out from the nursery to go walk the dogs and hubby…Stackpole woods was full of rhododendrons planted in victorian times. its now in the hands of the national trust and they have been doing a major clearing project. there are many walks around the woods but we always go for the muddy one as its quiet and we can let ruby reggie and blodwyn run around.

normally i cant see the dogs once they go off the path but they were having a great time rampaging up and down in the cleared areas.

certanly not much drought here in west wales we could pipe it to u guys in england…..lol

its amazing just how much light now poors in through the trees..

id love some of this wood for my fire…

then it was off to another walk. this one has been renovated with pathways built and new bridges and a little surprise greets you near the car park…

this made us giggle…

whats in the little shed??

a very clean usable compost toilet…

it was lovely to be out in the sunshine…thanks for reading..:-)

Bet that did you a power of good Sandra and the dogs would certainly have enjoyed a scramble.
Lovely pics, I like to see the sun shining through the trees, that little hut reminded me of Worzel Gummidges shed, lol...

It's very nice around there. Haven't been for years now. I'm glad you enjoyed ,,, and the dogs aswell. It's good to get some fresh air.

Lovely walk! Please blog again in a couple of years' time when the 'new' light reaching the ground under the trees has caused more growth of smaller plants. I bet it'll be amazing! :o)

Thanks for that walk - we went to Stackpole Woods about 18 months ago - when the wild garlic was out - the perfume was wonderful - didn,t see scrubby bottoms though - went round the lakes at Bosherton and along the cliff tops - what a wonderful place to walk - Marigold
