Decided it was time to take the camera for a stroll. This is the view from the living room window.
Plugs hardening off from the greenhouse, including Fuchsia, Petunia, Verbena, Calabrachoa
Geranium Bill Wallis
Phlox subulata
My favourite Osteospermum
Erysimum Red Jep in front of Geranium Beth Chatto, in front of dwarf Lilac
Dwarf Lilac (Syringa) very fragrant
Sobaria Sem
Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy, just in leaf
Anemanthele lessoniana (it was easier to say when it was Stipa arundinacea!) in front of tree peony
Swan River Daisy
Love my view from my favourite chair :)
Happy gardening everyone – stay safe.

I always look forward to your blogs and photos Sheila. The garden is looking absolutely lovely. It's so well-designed. The winding paths are beautiful to look at in their own right.

as the others have said what a lovely garden view you have. Some beautiful plants now and through into the summer. The hard landscaping is lovely and soft on the eye.

Thanks Sue - you’re very kind.

I remember your garden paths at the beginning of your project and thought how beautifully designed they were. Now the garden has filled out with so many lovely plants but it is still the initial design that still impresses me the most - it is gorgeous!
I love your favourite osteospernum and the sobaria.

Looks a lovely view from your window, Sheila! Your lawn is pristine. Lots of pretty colours going on, very cheering too. Love the Osteospermum, I haven’t this one, but just purchased my 2nd yesterday - only one available while shopping safely at the supermarket! Still, I’m lucky I can venture out and about, so to speak.
I do love the sorbaria too, I’ll have to pick one up later. Love the colouring on the fine leaves.

Thanks so much Chris, we are delighted with the design too . . . we did tweak it though. We halved the width of the path, otherwise it would have overwhelmed this relatively small space!
Thank you very much Kate, yes Osteospermums are great - they go on flowering for so long. You did the right thing - see one, buy one! I now think the sobaria will get too big for its space - not sure if they can be cut back?

I’m not sure, but, I think you’ll be able to prune it? I’ve just Google’s it as I’m quite keen on buying one later. I appreciate there are some varieties, but it says you can prune. I’m pretty sure someone else will definitely know!

Your garden looks fabulous Sheila so pretty and full of interesting plants and colour ...

A beautiful garden and the path is stunning! Sometimes hard landscaping can be too much in a garden, but this is perfect and so beautifully done.
As to the Sobaria, I have had one for years and just hack it back to conform to the space it was allocated and it's perfectly fine!

Many thanks Amy and Honey for your positive comments - we were very lucky with our young landscapers, chaps we could talk to. Kate ... it seems you are right!
