Another glorious day!

We have spent all morning in warm sunshine in the garden, finally potting up the Sweet Peas in troughs against the back trellis (they look a mess at the moment, so are not photo-worthy!). I also potted up my 4-year old Olive tree which I love :)

Acer Orange Dream or Coral bark Maple?

Prunus Tai Haku (Great White Cherry) survived the frost

Loropetalum Firedance (Chinese Witchhazel) finally coming out into the open …

View from chair by the back door, with coffee in hand.

Hope you are all having a happy day.

That cherry tree make a wonderful focal point at this time of the year!

I also liked your Acer 'Orange Dream'! 😃 Wonderful colour foliage! The Chinese witch hazel also has lovely foliage! 😃

Your garden is looking lovely and can't believe it's only a couple of years. Looks a very tranquil place to sit and relax with a coffee

Thanks very much Balcony and Jen ... my garden is my happy place! I do feel lucky 🙂.

That's a good view from your chair, Sheila, I would love to join you there for a coffee! I could admire it too, (but I will make do with a virtual visit.)
I have an enormous acer in the bottom border which is about 9ft. high and looks very much like your 'Orange Dream'. We inherited it with the garden, so don't know if it could be the same one. I'd like to have a name for it.
My sweet peas have been a disaster this year. I won't bother planting them in October again!!

Thank you, yes, a good but busy day, at the allotment this morning, pottering in the garden this afternoon.

I've had a lovely day too thank you. Lots of coffee and digging the bed with the bind weed from next door enjoying my space.
Also had a good friend drop in for coffee and a natter, first time since the beginning of the last lockdown as she had to shield.

Like the others i cant believe how quickly your garden has settled and matured. very relaxing.

Ange, you’d be very welcome for a coffee any time 🙂. Growing the sweet peas from seed was a faff - I won’t be doing that again.

Thanks Klahanie, Sue and Eileen for your kind comments.

Hasn't the sunshine been glorious Sheila, all the blossom trees looking so pretty. Your great white cherry is a beauty, Mum had one in her shrubbery which is still flowering after 70 years! Lovely new leaf colour too.
I love your pretty Acer and the witch hazel, and they all tone with each other and your to die for snake path..haha

Just lovely Sheila, so much to enjoy now x

Thank you Kate for your generous comment. Glad to hear that your Olive is thriving ... it could be in the perfect spot, because I was told to plant mine with “plenty of rocks” in the compost!

A bright & colorful garden Sheila. I really love your acer and Loropetalum. Isn't the coffee so much better when in your favorite garden chair? I totally get that!

Absolutely Paul - thank you!
