Loving your acers! Ours are coming into leaf too..one is out and looking good in its limey yellow jacket!
Your copper beech is very nice potted up! I wouldn't have thought of this. Erysimum is looking so vivid!

Love the design of your garden, Sheila. Your acers are wonderful - I'm becoming a real fan!

Kate, Klahanie, Ange and Julia … thank you so much for your generous comments. Because the Copper Beech is in a pot, it stays that “dwarf” size 🙂.

Your garden is looking more lovely and mature each time you show us it.

Thanks Daylily, we love the path too - it seems to make the garden look bigger 🙂.

Plenty of trees coming into leaf here as well. I've seen a few Acers with their lovely spring foliage in people's gardens.

Your garden looks wonderful & that path looks really good.

Your Acers look nice as well. Acers are also one of my favourite trees!

That garden gets better all the time. How old is it now, I've lost track? It looks as though its always been there.

Bless you Sue, what a lovely comment 🙂. The landscapers finished the build in April 2018 and we promptly planted Cercis canadensis Forest Flame, Amelanchier, and Cornus Eddie’s White Wonder. All sorts of flowers have gone in since of course, some surviving, some not! Luckily the trial and error is fun … x

Gosh how time flies when we're having fun Sheila, I know the last couple of years passed without us noticing for obvious reasons but I cannot believe its that long since you had the garden done, its looks lovely, the pathway meanders, would encourage me to want to take a walk around.
Its a lovely time of the year, trees, shrubs and more flowers opening and blooming wherever we go, I too love acers, have three here all in pots, was a tad worried as they lost the winter protection when we cut down the old conifers but all have come through..Lovely photo's Sheila..

Thanks very much Lincs … I said to the designer “I’d like a garden I can walk round”, and that’s what he gave me - with amazing imagination and skill 🙂.

Larkin is brilliant - he can say such deep things with such simple language!
