A few June flowers

On Monday evening there will be a few visitors coming to the garden – all members of the Open Gardens group. The Big Day will be Sunday, 30th June, but of course we are all in our own gardens that day. In order that we can view each others’, someone has made a rota of visits between now and the 30th which is a good idea.

I’ve taken the camera for a walk, with mixed results!
Verbena, Osteospermums and Petunia

Pink Geranium (any ideas for the name?)

Mixture with grass ‘Melica’ from Wildside

The colours in real life are more vivid, particularly the Catananche, and the Geranium in the ‘mixture’ is actually fuchsia pink, so it’s a shame that these look rather pale.
Perhaps I’ll try again with my iPad …

Thanks Eileen. These “previews” are all between 5.00 and 7.00pm, and during that time there will be two or three gardens to visit. So none of us are providing refreshments, each visit will be relatively quick, and then we’ll be going back home for supper.
