May sunshine in the garden!

What a beautiful day for being in the garden. I spent most of the morning “working” in the greenhouse, then pottering, tidying and admiring one or two plants. Time to share a few wonky photos …
Close up of Viburnum ‘Kilimanjaro’
Geranium ‘Bill Wallis’
Geranium sanguinem
Bonsai
Acer Shirasawanum ‘jordan’
Acer Osakazuki
Acer Ukigumo for Janey
Campanula Glomerata (my favourite!)
Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone … hopefully staying close to home and staying safe :)

Loving your pics, Sheila. You've a lot of very attractive plants, agree with Hywel, gorgeous colour on the campanula.
Smashing close up of the viburnum.

Lovely selection of plants. My favourite geranium ‘Bill Wallis’. I counted I have 15 hardy geraniums and 9 varieties in my garden!

That is a beautiful campanula Sheila. I see the bonsai are doing well. I admire your perseverance with them!

All looking good, Sheila. I like the little 'Bill Wallis' geraniums 'cos they gently seed about. Your acers are lovely and I'm impressed with the bonsai.

It all looks lovely and your geraniums seem to be further ahead than mine.

Lovely blog Sheila, the viburnum flowers are stunning! I thought they were hydrangea flowers at first..:)
Everything is looking very pretty and much further along than in my garden.
Thanks for the pic of Ukigumo, I had to move my two small acers out of the strong cold winds we've had this week. I couldn't manage the Jordan, so had to bag it up, which I've removed this morning fingers crossed we may have more gentle weather now....please.....!!

Janey, thank you! Some hydrangea flowers are very similar to Viburnums I think. Many plants are much earlier than in previous years … the Kilimanjaro is beginning to go over, and two years ago it was at its best on the 26th June when we were “Open”. No such luck this year!
I hope your Acers will survive now they’re sheltered. What a pain the strong winds have been 🙁. x
