I can sing a rainbow!

22 comments

You can sing one too, if you like, but my rainbow is r.o.y.g.b.i.v. Do you remember what those letters stand for? Think back to your school days!

r = red…

o = orange…

y = yellow…

g = green…

b = blue…

i = indigo…

v = violet…

Not quite the same as the song, is it? Sing with me -

“Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue”… Did that cheer you up on a cold morning? I hope so.

Thanks, everyone - it was such a c-c-c-cold morning I tried to cheer myself up - and you, too! :-)))

Dawn, the yellow is Alyssum saxatilis. I think 'they' have changed its name, but not sure what we're supposed to call it now. :/

I used to teach it at my school, but with some misgivings in case the children thought the colours were correct! :/
