Funny-looking large fungi …
… they’ve sprouted by my small shed …
They are the size and shape of bread rolls. Lol. …
Luckily, my dogs don’t walk in this area …
……………………………………………………………
Elsewhere, all is growing to plan …
… Heuchera Ginger Ale … full of fizz …
……………………………………………………………
Ajuga Burgundy Glow … I love the colours …
……………………………………………………………
Skimmia Magic Marlot …
… it is more healthy now, in this shady area …
……………………………………………………………
Omphalodes Starry Eyes …
… this has been flowering again for quite a while …
…………………………………………………………….
Pretty variegated conifer foliage …
… Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Fleckellwood …
……………………………………………………………..
Back in the icy winter, some plants suffered …
… They’ve perked up nicely … lots of new leaves …
… but taking a rest from producing flowers this year …
Two examples …
Pileostegia Viburnoides …
… and Saxifraga Fort. Black Ruby [ below, on left ]
But the primroses and heucheras are flowering …
Also, pretty purple flowers on the little geranium …
… kindly sent to me by GoY member Gee19 …
………………………………………………………………
Attractive campanula from Hywel’s mother’s garden
…. spreading well and looking happy …
………………………………………………………………
Front side border …
… I’ve new plantings in this area …
………………………………………………………………
Penstemon Czar, flowering for the first time …
… a lovely present from GoY member Janette …
………………………………………………………………
Front garden roses ~
Rose Heartbeat continues to bloom beautifully …
…
… and Rose Arthur Bell is still reaching for the skies
………………………………………………………………
We have rosettes, too …
… won at the charity dog show this weekend …
… held in aid of dog rescue …
Conker won first place with his tricks routines …
… and Truffle ? …
… he was first for the Waggiest Tail at the show …
… Happy doggies … happy days …
… Lol … :o)))

Terra you are a gem, you have just named another of my roses," Heartbeat".. I have that name in my mind but wasn`t sure which one it belonged to, lol.
The fungi is very attractive, I always sweep any away now because of Brynner, he still insists on investigating anything new to see if its palatable, lol.
I`m hoping to see that penstemon amongst my new ones, I know I collected seeds from all of the ones I used to have.
Your garden is looking as lovely as usual but I really wish you wouldn`t show how fresh your woodwork looks, my stain is still residing in the shed instead of on the shed, lol..
Your lovely lads have done you proud again and the photo is gorgeous...

Your garden looks lovely Terra. And I noticed you have nice collection of conifers. Looking at other poeple's gardens I am often thinking to myself - what about conifers? where are they? They deserve to be planted as well, lol. Lovely presents, my plants are still bit too small and too young to propagate them. but hopefully soon I will be able to share them as well. well done your team - they look very proud:) Masha says hello as well:)

Oh lovely blog dear TT. Your garden is looking perfect, not sure about the funghi behind the shed though! Maybe there are little gnomes living under there! Your dogs are fab and alsways get a first in my eyes! x

Oh, TT, your immaculate garden makes me want to throw in the towel. I'll swear you've polished your heuchera, and how come your skimmia's got flower buds on it? Thank you for giving the ajuga a specific name - I'm sure mine must be the same one, it looks so similar, but mine is a bit of a thug and needs a severe talking to sometime this week, or there will be no space in the borders once spring flowers decide it's time to struggle through.....PRIMROSES????? It's September, for goodness' sake. Mind you, my choysia has decided that cooler weather and a little rain was the cue for a celebration and has burst into bloom. I fear the worst. I think you must have polished Conker and Truffles, too - they look perfect.
