Yes it is special to me, Hywel. I purchased it when I went back "home" to visit my sister for the first time after living here in the UK for 12 years.

It was painted by a local craftsman, a First Nations artist (that's the name now for native indians...all happened since I left Canada).

San....put your paint brush in your hand and have a go...it could open up another facet to your newest hobby :)

I love the way he's all curled up and yet you still managed to capture his wilyness in his face!

Yes, I love him...and our youngest grandson always takes fox down from the lounge windowsill and strokes/talks to him....he's 4 yrs. old and it's about the only "ornament" he won't leave alone! lol

He does have a wily expression, Karen....and doesn't he look cozy all curled up? :)
