Prime candidate for regisration

My daylilies are opening, more and more every day; and it is time to start thinking if there are that should be registered this year. I have one that has been captivating from the start, and I gave it a garden name of Star of Portugal.
It was created by taking a seedling I had started from seed, but its parentage had gotten lost. I have been calling it BSA#7 which was its location designation.
Using this as a pod parent, I crossed it with Free Wheelin’, a very large TET that is easy to use as a pollen parent, but very difficult as a pod parent.
The result was this:
What I really like about this one is in the evening, when the sun finally sinks low enough and shade falls across the garden, this one comes alive and its throat seems to glow and dominates the area.

Stunning daylilies. Trust you don't have cats or dogs as every part seems to be poisonous to animals.

Thanks! This year's new ones are starting to flower. My cats don't bother with the daylilies, and I have never lost one by poisoning. They do like to play hide and jump around them.

Thabks - not too bad, then. It really does have a lot of scapes, and did you notice how it performs a little different in cool vs warm weather?

Very eye-catching... it's interesting how some flowers really do look better in the evening at sundown.
