IT"S JUST A PERFECT DAY.......

NIce blog Dotty. I was down that way myself last Tuesday at Hill Head. Went with my sister and brother inlaw. Lovely it was, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The seaside...I dream of days near the sea...I think it comes from growing up on a small island in B.C., Canada.

Your photos are lovely, DD...you sure had nice weather for your day out.

Just one problem Dotty, I dont know where you live. I used to live at Durley and my family are still down that way, so I used to be familiar with the area, but it has all changed so much since I left.

Nice blog, DD! Lovely photos of the sea & all those fishing boats. I was rather surprised to see ducks & Swans & their cygnets in the sea! I thought they were only fresh water birds.

You had a glorious sunny day for your walk!

It must be very nice to live there by the sea.

Lab it is, Balcony the swans swim along the coast quite often, they used to get out of the sea walk up the beach and cross the road, people were always stopping the traffic to let them pass, there is some fresh water over the other side of the road lol Hywel we do love it, but sometimes we miss the countryside, OH more so then me.

And you can smell the sea here, even when we are in the garden.!!

Love it!! Especially when the local gardeners provide treasures like this, for us all to enjoy!!!! :-))))

It does you good to have a break from the garden at times Dd , you go back and see it through different eyes ... looks like you had a perfect day in a beautiful place .. .. we go walking on our coast more in the winter than the summer after the tourist have gone .... . :- )
