LET YOUR **IMAGINATION** RUN WILD!!

We visited this garden over a week ago, the owners were opening to raise money for cancer treatment, so on a very hot day we made our way there….
This is a very pretty medium sized garden, but, what makes it special is the most imaginative use of containers, just amazing!! see what you think?
I think you will agree, a very imaginative use of planters….
just to finish off with a few pics of the garden ….
The last photograph shows what can be done, after the removal of some very large conifers, this is a new border, created at the end of last year!!
The garden opening was a huge success, raising a great deal of money for a very worth while cause, this garden and 5 others will be open again this Sunday 28th July as part of Fareham in Bloom, any GOYers in Hampshire should really go along, you will enjoy the day……
Almost forgot these two, the second photograph is none too clear, had to get in the tree to take the photo!!
Well there you have it, food for thought, I must admit I am going to pinch one of these ideas……..

Thanks DD we could all have more fun rummaging round waste recycling centres for different containers. I got a bird cage for ยฃ1, it has the same Fuchsia in it again this year.

Great fun Dotty . . . love the picture frame. And those four "trays on fence" would be good for displaying bonsai!

There's something for everyone there - I'm sure there will be many inspiring containers created by folk reading this DD2 :)
Beautiful gardens and all very healthy looking.

Hello and thanks for looking, the owners are really lovely people and have worked so hard in all this heat to put on a good show, a lot of the items were picked up at the local tip etc....one man's meat?
Thank you all for your kind comments....

Someone has used a lot of imagination creating these effects in the garden and it is fascinating to see what can be achieved.
I think we all ought to have a go and see what we come up with!

Wow Dd. what a beautiful garden and they certainly love their containers don't they. The size of that heuchera on those weighing scales?? My fave is the 'mincer', i had one of those once!! and that border where the conifers have been removed, well that gives me some idea too. thanks Dd. lovely blog.

that is certainly an imaginative use of 'junk' in some cases the bits would have been thrown out by the more tidy amongst us ;o).
I have several lumps of wheels that would /cpuld be used like this.

It seems I haven't been getting notifications of a lot of blogs. I'm sorry I missed this, it's great! Especially loved the picture frame effect.

Great blog and photo's Dotty, I love the scales and to think we threw mum and dads old mincer away last year, I'll be raiding hubby's treasures again to see what I can sneak out without him noticing, some of these are really good......
