Out of hibernation....

….and I don’t mean the tortoises :)
I hope you are all enjoying some sunshine or, at least, less wintery conditions now. It has turned chilly here, nearly 7pm and I have just tucked the tortoises up safely for the night.

Hi Gee, it is evident, there is a lot happening in your garden now, lol. Nice to see so many flowers. I am just interested - what sort of dog do you have?

Hello Gee, good to see you have come out of hibernation for the Spring! Love the Pheasant in your garden ... I divided up and then re-planted some Heucheras recently ... the difference in their growth is amazing .. just shows that a little more shade was required. I think one was Georgia Peach, the other was Marmalade. I hope your lovely collection of Heuchera have survived the wet Winter ... :o)

Hi PP - my heucheras in pots were badly hit by the dreaded vine bugs but I think I have managed to save them by replacing all the compost and splitting - took ages :(
Katarina, my dog, Millie, is a mixture! She a whippet lurcher but probably has some staffie in her too :)
Hi Shirley, the pheasant was a big surprise to me - we sometimes see them in the woods but one has never visited before. I have lots of baby heuchera where I have had to rescue them from the vine weevil bugs. Hopefully they will survive :)
Thanks, Kidsgran, glad you enjoyed it.

Your garden is way ahead of ours. We have had some welcome nice weather but hoping the forecast for next week is wrong. We are very tired of the endless wind. I wonder if your duck will be back this year?

Thank you, Neellan, Scotsgran, Grandmage & Homebird. No ducks this year, Scotsgran, they did land and looked interested but a new cat in the neighbourhood disturbed them and the same happened in next doors garden too and eggs were abandoned there. Such a shame - no sign of any ducklings on the pond yet this year. The Council decided to cut back all the shrubbery around the pond so the poor ducks have lost lots of hiding places there too :(

Lovely pics of your garden Gee, although Millie seems to be deep in thought and has a bit of a frown, she doesn't look grumpy like the little chap in front of her, lol....
Shame about the ducks I loved seeing them in your garden...
