*Just thought I would put on a few pictures on to give you an idea of the shape of my garden, it isnt very big but has a lot packed into it!

This is the Patio Area showing the central steps which lead up to further steps on either side into the main part of the garden

Left side of patio, which houses table and chairs and my Mini Greenhouse !

Right side patio view, this is small as most of the space is taken up by the Conservatory

Left side steps, with Polly’s little rockery to the right and you may just spot Dovey tucking in;0).

Right side Steps [ at present this area is full of London Pride and For-get-me-nots which mask most of the other plants.

The next two picture show the right side of the main garden borders, Lots of Fopr-get-me-nots here too;0)

Right side border looking back to conservatory

The next two pictures show the left side of the main garden borders

Looking back towards the house

The back of the garden area, with pond, Arbour and Shrubbery

Pots

Young plants are waiting to be planted out, they are taking up all the seating areas

On The Arbour

On the Form

Can’t even eat out lol

Thats all for now friends hope you enjoyed your tour, Happy Gardening!*

Your garden has lots of very pretty areas ... well-done!

In Lancs, you've had rain ... almost none in the South and East of the UK, where the lawns are brown and dry ...

I've added this blog to GoYpedia Design Ideas... :o)

WOW PP! what a lovely garden, so very well looked after. It doesn't matter what size it is, it's what you've done with the space that's important, and I must say you've used it beautifully!

15 May, 2011

Your garden looks smashing Carole, so neat and tidy......

15 May, 2011

15 May, 2011

Such a lovely garden and variety of plants. That looks like you have put so muc hard work in. WELL DONE! Your hard work has paid off, now sit back, relax and admire your garden.

15 May, 2011

Oh will I ever have such a neat garden - I don't think so somehow. Lovely Pp.

15 May, 2011

I just love your garden, love the landscape of it. Well done Carole. Thank you for showing us.

15 May, 2011

A really lovely well stocked garden, a tribute to lots of willing work. Looking at this, mine looks more of a wilderness than ever :-))

15 May, 2011

Beautiful design, looks a nice size. I have an arbour on the bottom left of my garden which is the next area to be planted, hope it looks as good as yours when its done.

15 May, 2011

Wow - I just love it -no space for weeds!!. Your garden is lovely.

15 May, 2011

Really lovely, Pp :-)))

The way you've minimised the lawns to concentrate on proper gardening is wonderful and no straight lines either ..... you've got everything perfect in your garden :-)

You should open it under the NGS, if you don't already, as a single or group entry.

15 May, 2011

It is very special your garden PP love it, love the steps and the seating areas and all the borders, amazing what you have managed to put into your space, it is very well kept and beautifully maintained, you are rightly very proud of it I am sure. It all looks so well and flourishing, I love the forget-me-knots they are very very pretty, something I have not got in my garden, I must get some. No wonder lovey and dovey spend their days in your garden.

15 May, 2011

PP....your garden is beautifully laid out and there seems to be just the right mix of heights and denseness of planting. Your circular steps up to the garden are so inspired and invites a walk into the rest of your garden.

I hope all your small plants you've got "in waiting" can be thriving examples of your tender care once they are in the ground.

15 May, 2011

Great tour of your lovely garden, PP! I loved everything about it!

(PM me with your address so I can sent you some yellow Clematis seedlings)

We've been hoping for rain all day Olive it looked cloudy today and then we felt a few spots but still nothing ! we are getting fed up with the long job of watering plants everyday ~~

15 May, 2011

You have a beautiful garden, Pp, one in which you can see your passion for gardening. I love the way no boundary fences are to be seen! Have you lived there for many years? My first thought, like others, was where on earth are you going to place all those new plants ... lol! : o )

15 May, 2011

I wouldn't say your garden is so small, PP - it certainly doesn't look it - it must be how you've laid everything out. It looks so plush and healthy with your borders etc packed with plants. Well done with it.

15 May, 2011

What a gem of a garden PP you can definitely see an artists hands have worked their magic.
Really enjoyed the stroll.

15 May, 2011

Fantastic, Carole. Your garden is looking pretty as a picture. I love all the Forget-Me-Nots ... not something I've ever seen in reality. Everywhere there's a terrific view ... and I see there's more plants to go out yet.

looking beautifull as usual carole, everything so neat and pretty planting to, enjoyed your tour thankyou :o))

16 May, 2011

That does not look like a small garden to me PP - it's gorgeous and looks massive. I've got a 'biggish' back garden for the area where I live (North East coast) and it's about 50' long x 45' wide!

16 May, 2011

Oh u are a lucky gal to have such a lovely space. You've done a great job on it, love the curved edge to the grass and the steps area. The stones at the end of the steps give a lovely touch and your balance of color is right on. It looks so neat and well cared for.
Thanks for sharing.
Hope u get the sun to sit out and enjoy.
Happy Gardening.

Your garden seems to have totally everything, I don't just mean all those lovely plants, its has a beautiful design, the shapes and structures just right, some height and character, and of course the variety of colors. I could just imagine myself sitting in your conservatory and feasting on your beautiful garden.

16 May, 2011

Thanks Ann, pleased you like it!

18 May, 2011

Ahhhh... Loved the tour Carole. Garden is looking as beautiful as always. Have been seriously thinking about doing a bit of 'cramming' in my garden. Seem to have a few gaps but can't make up my mind what to fill them with. Had some London Pride from my daughters year before last, which is growing well but not quite as fast as I'd like it too. When it does take a proper hold I'll probably moan then that I have too much. Lol. :o))

18 May, 2011

Your garden is fabulous! I just found this site and joined today. I am going to love keeping up with other gardeners and seeing what they are planting. You have done a wonderful job planning and choosing plants. What an inspiration you are to a novice like myself:)

18 May, 2011

I love your garden Carole, it's all looks beautiful, green and lush. Lovely seating areas and so nicely complimented by your conservatory. How do you keep it so neat? Love Dovey too:-)

21 May, 2011

Wow pansypotter, thats lovely. So much packed in. Reminds me a little of our garden in that earlier this year we chaged the shape of our lawn so now its curvy, a bit like yours. Hope our borders look as good as yours when they mature a little. I'm also in lancashire and the rain recently has certianly helped lush things up a bit!

21 May, 2011

Wow we, absolute stunning "little" garden. Well maintained, loved walking through it. The neatness is so nice to see. Eye candy 4 sure.

21 May, 2011
