Well, what a lovely poem from such an aged lady ! You know I'm only joking Sandra, and I did laugh at the coming in late and the squeaky stairs. I used to avoid the last to top stair as it made such a creak, my Mum told me, years later that she never slept until I was in from a night out, sorry Mum !
Your card is truly unique, lots of thought went into it and you'll treasure it, I'm sure. Have a great Sunday lunch followed by a break away (again), no, I'm not at all envious, much ... lol !

I remember a couple of lines from somewhere,
Time speeds on its way too quickly; every day slips soon away,
and before the heart has grasped it night has blossomed into day.
Grasp each moment, live it fully for the day so briefly lingers.
There is gold in all the moments that we let slip through our fingers.
I`m sure you haven`t let any time slip away what with looking after a family and your garden, and by the look of that card and gifts all your efforts have been appreciated.

Well,now I have a moment to myself,after a lovely lunch with family...a bottle of Champagne,and a bottle of wine..and even though I don't really drink,I had one glass to be sociable...it just gives me headache,that's why I don't have it.but have got the parecetamols handy..just in case...Lol. Some of you will realise why I made the Pizza in my recipe..and also why I asked for advice on how to save a blog...I knew I wouldn't have time to do either today,so
I wrote this last night,but had spent a few days trying to compose it..you didn't think I could do it off the top of my head ,did you ? Lol...a lot of altering here,and tweaking there,till I decided it was what I wanted to say...Many thanks for all your good wishes,it is so nice to read all your lovely comments,and they mean a lot to me.It has been a great day so we are just chilling out tonight.I have had some lovely cards and presents...a new camera mobile phone.I could be 80 before I learn how to use it :o))from Alison and Anthony,..a lovely pen from Thomas,which says "Grandma's are antique little girls",Flowers,chocolates, necklace,money,and gardening vouchers...I have had a fantastic day,and still the next few days to look forward to...mmmm.

Thanks Flori,have had the most wonderful weekend.I had another lovely surprise today,as when the we arrived at the Restaurant,all 12 of our family were there,plus the children..so nice to be all together,and we had a great time.Ben aged 2,and his brother Jack who is 6,made such a fuss of Thomas..so he has two new mates now..even if the little one was a bit heavy handed.Lol.I agree about how you feel inside,I like to think it makes a difference.You are so kind,my friend,and although we wind each other up a lot,we both know its only in fun...makes us laugh though,and that's the intention.It will be a few days before I am on here again...as celebrations are still ongoing...Back Wednesday,going out with the girls at night,then friends coming to stay till Saturday...how will I cope ?..very,very well!!...see ya.xx
