One month on from the last pictures of my garden, and I can see quite a difference, so thought maybe you would like to see them too. Thanks for looking, hope you like them.

My goodness me, what are you feeding your plants?
They are fabulous!

You have a lovely garden cinderella...
5 Aug, 2011
Thanks all of you, I don't give them any special feed, just scatter on some fertiliser occasionally when I think about it. Also bearing in mind that a lot of this has evolved over a number of years, with just a few annuals thrown in.

Looking lovely as ever, Cinders and I do like the trough with Fuchsias in pic 3. The hanging basket Petunias are a gorgeous colour, do you have the variety name at all? If only I had the height of shrubs as you do ... getting there slowly though! ... :o)))

The petunia must have had a name, but I've just been out to look and can't find a label, sorry. The Fuchsias, there are three in that trough, on the left is Seventh Heaven, cant see much of it, then the red and white Ballet Girl, and on the right Torville & Dean. I will try and get some cuttings going if you would like any of them Shirley.

Thanks for going to have a look, Cinders, most kind of you! ..... I rather like Fuchsia 'Torville & Dean' and would be pleased to have a cutting ... many thanks. ... :o))

How on earth do you have so many different flowers in bloom now - You must have loads of plants set in. It is just so beautiful - if mine turns out anything like yours when I've finished it I will be very happy !

Thanks Mariek. Lots of perennials, and if you buy them when they are in flower you know when they will be in bloom. This garden has developed gradually, and this rose at the bottom was bought in the pound shop four years ago. It is stunning, but no name unfortunately.

What a beautiful garden you have and not a space for a weed anywhere, you must work really hard to keep it looking as lovely as this. Is that the Bonica rose on the last pic? I have one which is enormous now .You must be so proud Cinderella.

Thank you for your lovely comments Rose, I do love my garden, I don't have a name for that rose at the end, it was one I got from the pound shop a few years ago, and it has been well worth the pound!
