its looking good Cinders, beautiful 'blues' in there. Raised beds & retaining walls are such a pleasing feature.
I think there's a few of us waiting to get the mowers out also. Maybe later!

You've been working hard! Looks lovely and much tidier than my garden. I particularly like the clematis. My montana rubens is out but no flowers on any of my others yet - but they are looking healthy with all the rain!!

Hi Bampy, thanks for lovely comments, the raised beds and retaining walls have been there a number of years now, but its fairly easy to maintain. My biggest problem is cramming everything so close together, but there, I don't get many weeds that way.

Thankyou Floss, clematis is macropatella Lagoon. This is its first year, so am very pleased with it.

Hello Lincs, thank you, the walls were done by my late husband about twenty years ago, but I change the planting from time to time, as we all do, and yes I have mown and trimmed the edges so feel happier now, it always makes it look better doesn't it/

Hi Sandra, thank you, yes it was a busy day, but I have to keep stopping to relax my back, which is a nuisance, but after a few minutes rest I go back for another go. Must be age catching up !! Pretty little clematis isnt it.

Cinders we open on 3rd and 4th June and again in July 1st and 2nd. Hope by then the weather will have picked up, otherwise we will be serving soup and rolls !! all the tropicals are still inside as well!
