We have had a scarecrow competition over this Jubilee weekend, plus a few flower arrangements in the church. I tried to photograph those but it was rather dark in there and some didnt come out very well as I don’t have a posh camera, but will show you one or two pics, plus a few scarecrows.

~What a hoot - They all made me laugh. The lady with the buns appealed to my sense of humour. It reminded me of the famous WI calendar, but she doesnt seem to mind showing off her buns ..... lol

Freddie must be busy, We went through a village just off the A1 on saturday where he was strutting his stuff, andc acrerun of the royal wedding, the best bit was a balcony on someones porch with the queen & duke waving.
Yours look good too Cinderella and the competition is a good idea.

It was fun Sue, we had to walk all round the village, with a little map telling us which houses had scarecrows, there were 45 altogether, some were not very good, and we had to dodge the showers as well, so didnt get to see all of them.

It's lovely to see all the inspirational ideas folk have put together around the UK for the Queens Jubilee, what a tremendous effort...

The boys in blue were actually the mechanics at the local garage Neellan, I thought that was brilliant too.
Thanks Nana and Paul.
Sue the children at the school made scarecrows too, but by the time I got around to them someone had knocked the heads off. But all in all a great effort, and it was pleasing to see the support for all the events that had been organised. There was something for everyone.

Gone in my Faves again Cinders. Love the one of queenie and corgies. The pop singer theme makes a game of guess who. Like the naughty one outside the bakery too. Made me smile after a heavy time with OH who has been rather poorly, but better now.
