Couldnt resist taking a few more pictures this morning before the rain started. Who knows when it will stop and the garden may not look so good when it does, so forgive me for putting a few more pics on.

5 Jun, 2012
Sandra its the clematis above the variegated weigelia that is Denny's Double. Its the way the wording came out. I thought I had it under the clem.
Thankyou Jaykaty, but I'm afraid there is no scent to this particular honeysuckle. Shame.
Thanks Booboosmur.
Sam it is a lovely clematis, and well worth having, and the white one is new to me this year.

5 Jun, 2012
Beautiful garden Cinderella lots of colour and interest
I hope it survived the rain :o)
5 Jun, 2012
Thanks Moti. Its not very big really.
Simbad that clematis is beautiful isnt it. The plant you ask about is a Schizanthus. Its an annual plant that I grew from seed. Its very dainty isnt it.
Thanks Jem. The honeysuckle has been there a lot of years, and I have to cut it back a lot every year. The clematis Dr.Ruppel would look lovely on your arch. Glad you like my little path. I wasnt sure about it, as I had to dig out some lawn to do it. But I think it works now.

Thank you Neellan, I think it is ok. Have to do a snail patrol in the morning, don't want them getting my hosta's
5 Jun, 2012
is there even one weed in your garden cinders? it looks perfect to me!!
5 Jun, 2012
To me too, Sticki! It's all really beautiful...
...and that honeysuckle is awesome! :)
6 Jun, 2012
stuning garden , love that honysuckle
6 Jun, 2012
Thanks Cinders, aaaaah I've heard of Schizanthus but never seen it growing, lovely, I'm going to search my seed catalogues later so I can grow some next year, sure I've seen some in one of them, this sites fatal my list of things to grow just keeps getting longer and longer :-))
6 Jun, 2012
Do you know what Sticki, I don't seem to get many weeds. I am always (when its fine) wandering around and I pull them out as soon as I see them, apart from that there isnt room for them to grow. Its only a small garden you know, not as big as some members have.
The honeysuckle Karen is lovely, but has a bit of blight this year unfortunately. I haven't had any luck trying to get pieces rooted, have tried many times over the years. If there is a secret I would like to know it. Thanks Cristina for your comment.
Thank you Sheila.
6 Jun, 2012
I agree Simbad, my list is evergrowing. I bought the seeds in a GC.
6 Jun, 2012

6 Jun, 2012
Have added Clematis Dr.Ruppel to my wish list prob for along the side fence as Andy has claimed the arch for his Grape Vine lol.
6 Jun, 2012
Thanks Mark.
That will be nice there Jem.
6 Jun, 2012
Thanks for sharing, love the spire of the foxglove, is it dianthus surrounding it? I'm reading on my iPhone so can't fully appreciate pics. Beautiful x
6 Jun, 2012
Thank you Magnadoodle. Yes it is dianthus surrounding the foxglove. The foxglove found its own way there and wasnt planted, but it fits in very well.

I've just "favourited" this blog to remind me what gardens are supposed to look like in a perfect world. You must spend every moment of the day out there. Lovely.

Oh Gattina, what a lovely thing to say, thank you. I have to admit I like to spend time out there, but its not all work. I just love my garden, and find it relaxing just pottering about. Thanks again.
