There are so many things coming out in flower now, I can’t keep up, so here are a few pictures of some of them, taken in the last couple of days.
Denny’s Double
Clematis Denny’s Double,
Arctic Queen
Dr.Ruppel
Schizanthus and Berrie Smoothie Heuchera
Honeysuckle just coming out, and Clematis Multi Blue

Beautiful garden Cinders, love the first clematis Dennys Double, oh heck another for the wish list :-), I have the 'Dr Rupel' bought it from The Range last autumn, a 5 for £10 offer, can't believe how its grown and covered in flowers already, a beauty, can't wait till its as big as yours :-))

It all looks really lovely, Cinders. Dr Ruppel is on my list for next year too. Don't those red and yellow aquilegia look just like little jesters' hats? :)

Thank you Yorks.
Thanks Simbad, that was a good bargain then, 5 for £l0.
Thank you Karen, Dr.Ruppel is a good doer, as they say. and well worth having. Yes the aquilegia do look like little hats, also like little lanterns.

Beautiful Cinders. I love the way you have used the space in your garden. You have so many beautiful climbers the fences have all but disappeared. I have heard this advice before but its hard to believe until you see it. Your garden has convinced me. Lots of excuses to plant more clematis now!!

My goodness, what lovely comments from all of you, thank you so much. Sticki I agree, that white Clem is fabulous, and I am pleased it is all looking so good.
Moti, you are so kind about my garden, thank you.
Thanks Dido, nice to know you like it too.
Poppy, when I started to run out of space I had to look to going upwards, which I have done, and now I don't have any space at all. No place for a weed to grow ! I also have a raised veg patch, which I haven't shown on this blog.

All is looking good Cinders, I love that big pot of Hostas and all the heucheras and I bet the smell from the honeysuckle is pretty heady.

Do you know what Stroller, that honeysuckle doesnt have a perfume. So disappointing. But it makes up for it with its display. I do have another one on another fence that does have a scent but is not out yet. Thank you for your lovely comments.

Everything is growing so fast now, and your garden is full of lovely plants and beautiful flowers :o) I love to see them.
You've got some pretty little pinks, like the ones in my mother's garden. I've got them here now but they are only in bud yet.

What a lovely lot of colour you have in your garden, beautiful. Artic Queen is stunning and I love the soft lemon of the aquilegia. You must have worked hard to get it all to come together so well.
3 Jun, 2012
Thank you Gee, Arctic Queen is beautiful, as is the lemon aquilegia, but I wouldnt say I have worked that hard really, most of it comes up without any help from me.

Thank you Sandra, sorry, I nearly missed your comment.

Well, your garden is packed full of colour right now, Cinders ... I love the mauve Clematis and the Dianthus ... do you know which one it is? ... I have a similar looking red and yellow Aquilegia ... with very fine foliage compared to other ones ... and a Clematis opened up today ... allegedly a Dr. Ruppel ... but I have my doubts that it is! ... :o(

Sorry I don't know the name of the pink dianthus Shirley, the scent is wonderful, it was given to me by a neighbour. I will send you a bit of it if you like. I will put a picture of my Dr.Ruppel on shortly.
3 Jun, 2012
Just viewed your photo of Dr. Ruppel ... no idea what one I have bought now! ... I would love a bit of that Dianthus, please nicely ... :o)
3 Jun, 2012
ok, will send you some pieces shortly.

Many thanks, Cinders ... :o)

Another lovely lot of garden pictures. I can see you use pots of plants to decorate the borders too. A good eye for how to arrange plants to please the eye Cinders.....faves again. I was wondering....do you remove the dead flowerheads on your clematis or just leave them as a decoration?
17 Jun, 2012
Thanks Dorjac. Pleased you enjoyed it. In answer to your question, I normally leave the flowers to die off, as the fluffy seed heads are quite pretty as well.
17 Jun, 2012
You've got a wonderful selection of Clematis Cinders - I'm full of envy! But seeing your pictures has given me some ideas for my own collection I just need some pots and some... Thanks for the inspiration! :o)
