Little 'Nutella'

She must be about the cutest baby I have seen!

What amazes me, is how developed for life they are when they are born...she suckles off Mum, but nibbles on Hay, and I saw her sitting in the food bowl earlier...whether she was having a munch or not I don't know...:o))) and she's not afraid of me either...

Watching baby lambs being born yesterday it struck me how easily (relatively) the mother gives birth and how very quickly the little ones look so strong and are running about, takes our babies about nine months?!

Oh that is a sight to behold, I love lambing season, it's a wonderful part of new Spring life...
We had a Lamb a few years back, the local Farmer ask me to rear it, as the mother had triplets, and they can only feed two...so I bottled fed this Lamb and he stayed with until we moved, our Toby, great lad he is, haven't seen him for a while, I think he's doing a good job though...

There was a tiny one that was a triplet, small as a rabbit, sweet little thing, now bottle fed.

She's beautiful :o) Reminds me of the baby ones when my brother used to breed them years ago :o)

...and I hope Nutella is not Nutello, too. I wish her to stay with her mother as long as possible.

Aaaaw adorable, we used to have a guinea pig when the kids were little, they picked her because they felt sorry for her, she had a big bite out of her ear, great little lawnmower:-) she lived to be 9 years old!!!!!!, never realised they lived so long.
We had a lop eared rabbit too and they lived very happily together, really sad though the rabbit didn't live as long, and one morning we found him dead with the guinea pig all cuddled up to him,daughter put a soft toy in with her after that and the guinea pig(Gemma) used to cuddle up to that.
Sorry I'm reminiscing now :-)) giving you my life story,lol.

guinea pigs are very social animals. They suffer and live shortly when live solitary, but are stimulated by whatever living, in best case by another partner, lol.

Morning all....Yes Kat she's fine, I've just uncovered the Cage and given Mum a big dollop of fresh Hay...stroked them both, and Nutella is munching a little Hay too...No whooping going on, just gentle Mummy baby talk...I smile when I see baby running, she gets up on all fours, and her legs look go gangly...bless :o)))) she's happy...folks.
