Thank you , he flew off in a hurry once he had recovered .. do you know it's odd I went into the veg garden and could see lots of movement in the fruit cage went to have a look and there were several Blue tits in there flying about crashing into the sides trying to find a way out , it took us some time to persuade them to leave by the door it took us even longer to find out how they got in we couldn't find any noticeable gaps , goodness knows why they are going in before the fruit is ready or even an flowers , unless the foliage gives off a raspberry smell which we can't detect ....

Its good to rescue the babies. I saw a couple of baby wrens today, so cute and we've had gold finches nesting in the golden elder bush. Everyone likes your fruit cage Amy.

Thanks everyone , our lives seem to be revolving round rescuing birds at the moment ,I don,t know whats got into them they are either trapped in the shed / in the greenhouse /in the fruit cage /garage etc I'm sure they are playing with us , I have one that follows me everywhere and looks as though it's trying to talk to me LOL....

I'm having a problem with ducks, Amy! The last female (whose eggs came to nothing!) and the one footed male still visit regularly for breakfast or afternoon tea. Now a large, very fat pigeon seems to have adopted me and sits waiting to be fed each morning. He seems lonely so if anyone has a suitable mate for him please send it here :)
